Optional Post Conference Field Trips
The following list of possible post-conference activities is a draft that is subject to change. Please note the cost of these activities is NOT included in cost of conference registration:
*Tour of Santo Domingo historical and cultural sites – Various locations throughout Santo Domingo
*Spa or pool day at Hotel Melia Santo Domingo
*Beach day (hotel can arrange transportation to and from beach – 45 minutes each way)
*Site visit with animal welfare groups based in Santo Domingo
*Day trip to Fundacion Salvavidas shelter (near Santiago – interior of Dominican Republic)
*Day trip or overnight trip to La Romana (resort area, location of FUPRODAN animal welfare group)
*Weekend trip to North Coast of Dominican Republic to visit animal welfare groups in Sosua and/or Cabrera
