Our Mission
The Pegasus Foundation’s Caribbean Animal Welfare program supports animal welfare organizations throughout the islands of the Caribbean. Caribbean Animal Welfare has three primary goals:
 1) Provide resources, training and support to
     animal welfare organizations;
 2) Facilitate a communications network – especially
     during disasters; and
 3) Develop support for animal welfare from the
     tourism industry through the Caribbean Animal
     Tourism Support project.

Presentations from 2008 Caribbean Animal Welfare Conference available online
Many of the presentations from the 2008 Caribbean Animal Welfare Conference, held April 21-24 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, are now posted online:
Conference Presentations
The presentations available for download include disaster preparedness, organizational development, fundraising, spay/neuter clinics and alternatives to spay/neuter. Some of the presentations are available in Spanish and English.
More than 140 people from 28 islands or countries attended the 2008 Caribbean Animal Welfare Conference. The next conference will be held in 2010 in Grenada.
